Wyoming Drug Court Funding

Most Wyoming programs receive funding contributions through a biennial appropriation and Wyoming State Statutes 5-10-101 to 5-10-107.  This funding is administered through the Wyoming Department of Health, Mental Health and Substance Abuse Division.

Program funding is also through:

  • U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance Discretionary Drug Court Grants, Implementation and Expansion grants
  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
  • National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
  • Local government cash and in-kind funding
  • Participant contributions towards treatment cost
  • Problem solving program fees
